KKR Crush GT by 29 Runs in IPL 2026 Thriller as Sunil Narine Shines Again

Despite the massive target, GT showed why they remain one of the strongest batting units in the tournament. Captain Shubman Gill anchored the chase brilliantly before his dismissal at 177/2 gave KKR an opening. Jos Buttler also threatened briefly, but Narine and the KKR bowlers tightened the screws in the death overs.

This victory has massive implications for the IPL 2026 points table. KKR entered the contest needing a statement win to stay alive in the playoff race, and they achieved exactly that.
